Bradford Tatum stars as Dr. Brian Taft, a maverick neuropathologist and research biologist. Taft joins the newly assembled bio-crisis team endeavoring to battle modern day disease in The Burning Zone.
Born in Newport Beach, CA, Tatum became accidentally involved in acting when a speech therapist recommended that he take acting lessons to overcome a stutter. He soon discovered that he did not stutter when he performed, which ultimately lead to solving the problem.
However, he became increasingly more involved in performing, and after attending college for one year, decided to pursue theater professionally. Tatum moved to New York City where he studied at Sanford Meisner's legendary Neighborhood Playhouse.
During the arduous two year program, Tatum appeared in many off-Broadway productions. After landing a role in the Ed Zwick Marshall Herschovitz series Dreamstreets, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television.
Recently, Tatum has been seen in a wide range of roles including in the upcoming USA telefilm Billings with Kathy Bates and Alan Arkin, the Showtime telefilm Pronto with Peter Falk and has guest-starred in such series as Murder One and NYPD Blue. His feature film credits include Down Periscope with Kelsey Grammer and Powder with Mary Steenburgen, Lance Hendrickson and Jeff Goldblum.
Tatum is married to actress Stacey Haiduk and lives in Los Angeles.
